PYQPath
Content Source and Verification Policy
PYQPath aims to maintain one canonical question record supported by source references, structured metadata and a review history.
Source priority
- Official examination question paper where available.
- Official archive or scan.
- Multiple matching secondary compilations.
- A single secondary compilation held under review until stronger verification is available.
Import workflow
- Upload source document and structured data.
- Validate required fields and normalise searchable text.
- Detect exact and near duplicates.
- Import to staging or draft.
- Review wording, metadata and taxonomy.
- Publish only after the authorised action.
Canonical questions and multiple sources
- Multiple PDFs containing the same question should not create multiple live question records. Additional documents can be attached as source evidence to the canonical question.
- Metadata conflicts are held for review rather than silently overwritten.
Classification
- One primary subject or topic supports reporting, while related topics and tags preserve cross-cutting meaning.
- Essay themes and Optional taxonomies may involve editorial judgement and remain reviewable.
